these are pretty horrible, tbh i would complain to the chef, tell them off for their sub par chives, they clearly don’t care at all. maybe write a long diatribe about it in their reviews. 1 star. irregular chives.

I know it’s a meme at this point, but for all the laymans browsing this subreddit, just want you to know that these are perfectly acceptable chives for garnish in any restaurant on the world.
Yes, they could be better. But perfection is not necessary for a fucking green garnish that not 1 person is inspecting while on their plate. I bet that potato was a 10/10 in flavor and texture. The chive did absolutely nothing for the dish and wouldn’t change anything if they were all exactly cut 0.5mm in length.
That being said, wtf prep/line cook?! Sharpen your mother fucking knife you fucking pleeb. How dare you serve this dreck!
